Magic Studio is built to help anyone create stunning photos in seconds, no confusing tools, no steep learning curve, just instant results.

I studied how leading photo-editing apps handle selection, control, and feedback to inform Magic Studio’s interaction design.

Key Decisions

After examining similar apps, I realized we could create a better AI-based editing app. At that time, AI was still a novel concept with much unexplored potential. Our goal was to design an app with seamless flow that worked flawlessly from start to finish. We began by experimenting with the main magic eraser app, then the other apps and lastly the other screens like home page, gallery, sign up, on boarding.

Learnings & Conclusions

I learned that people trust AI when it works in small, reliable ways and meets their expectations. Next, the app can grow with features like batch editing and cloud sync to make things even easier.
